Gun Safety in The Wild West

I just had to deal with two gentlemen strapped to the teeth in my parking lot. No holsters, no locked boxes just high capacity magazine pistols in the waistbands of their jeans. I asked them to leave the property. I and many others do not believe on infringing others 2nd amendment rights, but some people, like the ones in my parking lot, do not need guns. If they were displaying their weapons safely or even concealing them, they would not have been asked to leave. They do not offer proper firearm safety lessons here in Arizona. Due to private sale statutes, anyone in Arizona can have a gun. You need a license for a car or a license to sell a house, but you do not need a license, training or secure equipment in order to own an object which can maim, murder and destroy the lives of as many people as there are bullets in the magazine. These types of people do not truly care about the "overthrow of the tyrannical government" or true self-defense. These George Zimmerman types of open carry people are usually very difficult to talk about especially when they are carrying death machines in a quiet peaceful suburb for no other reason other than a projection of power. Carrying two weapons openly in your waistband is a threat to others around you in a safe neighborhood where the police do their jobs. This is not an isolated incident. Visit Arizona. And to those I ask: When you leave your house with a loaded magazine, are you preparing to shoot people that day mentally? Are you preparing to defend yourself if someone takes your gun from you? How does it work? I'm curious. I just haven't met anyone who throws a gun in their purse or sticks a gun in their waistband and thinks to themselves: 'Oh what a lovely day' as they do an ammo check and walk out of the house. Maybe Arizona is that place and I've been looking at it all wrong. Maybe they think the gun in the purse or on the hip is the main reason they are going to have a lovely day. Either way, real gun reform is necessary. Let's do what the Swiss do, everyone who has a gun has to go to a Government sanctioned range once a year and show they know how to use it. Gotta get emissions on the car right?
